Featured Project Number 5: Little VIP

Design Brief: Architectural Technology (UK) Ltd. were invited to submit a scheme design for Little VIP's during the summer of 2007.
Little VIP's are a well known and long established chain of exclusive children's wear shops having nine premises in the West of Scotland.
The brief was to design a new shop within the shell of Unit F3 within the prestigious Silverburn Shopping Centre. Additionally, the shop had to have Building Control and site management approval and be completed for the end of November in time to secure the Christmas trade for the year.
While the brief in itself was fairly simple the timeframes for approval were incredibly difficult to achieve. Notwithstanding these difficulties the shop was opened on time and on budget and has proven to be a huge success.
